My Mission

I’m raising awareness and building a safe space for young people living with endometriosis.
No one should have to fight to be believed. Through education, advocacy, and community, I’m helping teens find their voice and know that hope and healing are possible.

I’m Quincy, a 17-year-old who spent years searching for answers before finally being diagnosed with endometriosis. From ages 11 to 15, I lived in constant pain β€” missing school, sports, and time with my friends. My symptoms were brushed off, and I was told it was β€œjust part of being a girl.” But deep down, I knew something wasn’t right.

After meeting Dr. Camran Nezhat, I finally heard the words that changed everything: β€œYour pain is not in your head.”

Since then, I’ve been on a mission to turn that pain into purpose. My goals:

  • Create open conversations about periods and pelvic pain.

  • Educate teens and parents on early symptoms and diagnosis.
  • Build a supportive community where no one feels alone.
  • Empower others to speak up and get the care they deserve.

What Is Endometriosis?

Endometriosis is when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside of it β€” on organs or the abdominal wall β€” causing pain and other symptoms.

Common symptoms include:

  • Severe cramping or pelvic pain
  • Heavy bleeding during periods
  • Nausea or bloating
  • Fatigue
  • Pain during intercourse
  • Difficulty getting pregnant later in life

🧠 Remember: Everyone’s experience is different. You don’t need all the symptoms for it to be endometriosis.
