Experience and Philosophy
Dr. Saqib M. Ahmad is a triple board-certified OB/GYN and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon and the founder and Medical Director of Ladies First Health Care in Flint, Michigan. With a sub-0.5% conversion rate across more than 2,500 Minimal invasive gynecologic procedures, Dr. Ahmad leads one of the highest-volume MIGS practices in the Midwest, specializing in endometriosis, deep infiltrating endometriosis, adenomyosis, uterine fibroids, pelvic organ prolapse, and complex hysterectomy.
He serves as a Clinical Professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and has held the position of Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hurley Medical Center, where he continues to train the next generation of gynecologic surgeons. A 18-time recipient of the CREOG National Faculty Award and ABOG Mentor Award honoree, Dr. Ahmad is a sought-after keynote speaker at national and international surgical conferences, with a particular focus on retroperitoneal anatomy, robotic surgical technique, and evidence-based management of endometriosis-related infertility.
Every patient who walks through my door deserves a diagnosis , not a dismissal. For women suffering from endometriosis and unexplained infertility, the path to answers is often long, painful, and unnecessarily delayed. My commitment is to shorten that path through precise clinical evaluation, advanced diagnostic tools including the MyReceptiva™ test, and individualized surgical and medical management that is rooted in current evidence and guided by each patient’s goals, whether that means achieving pain-free living, preserving fertility, or both.
I believe that a well-informed patient is an empowered patient. Taking time to truly listen, explain, and partner in decision-making is not secondary to technical skill, it is inseparable from it.
Dr. Ahmad is actively accepting new patients at Ladies First Health Care in Flint, Michigan, including referrals from reproductive endocrinologists and fertility specialists seeking surgical evaluation and optimization prior to IVF. He welcomes complex cases, including patients with prior failed cycles, suspected silent endometriosis, or recurrent implantation failure. Telehealth consultations are available for out-of-area patients. Dr. Ahmad also collaborates with trainees, residents, and international medical graduates pursuing education in MIGS and endometriosis surgery.
